About Me

As a writer I am fueled by my omnivorous appetite for learning and buoyed by the incredible people I meet along the way.

For me, it has always been about communication. Early on, I trained as an orchestral musician, where I learned to convey profound meaning through sound. Then, I got a Ph.D. in music history from the University of Chicago where I won over $150,000 in fellowships and grants to study and teach music’s social context.

These days, I serve artists, thinkers, and anyone who envisions a more life-sustaining world. Get in touch and let’s collaborate. I’d love to help tell your story!
